Canada Night at AWFS Vegas 2011

Ryan Vreedenberg - Monday, August 01, 2011
CNC Automation was one on many proud sponsors of the "CANADIAN NIGHT" on the Thursday night of the AWFS show.

Team CNC wore Team Canada shirts to the event to clearly display our Canadian Heritage to all that attended. To our pleasure, the night was an amazing success with over 200 Canadian visitors showing up and over 50 representatives from all of the sponsors.

The room was full for the 3 hours of the event as Canadian woodworking companies mingled amongst themselves from one end of the country to the other. We have had numerous customers calling to say they enjoyed themselves tremendously and look forward to the next event so that they meet other similar companies in a casual setting.

WMS 2009 Habitat for Humanity Initiative

Ryan Vreedenberg - Friday, January 08, 2010
This past September at the WMS 2009 Show, CNC Automation in collaboration with our Suppliers and customers built kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and vanities that were then donated to the Habitat for Humanity Restore Program.

Many of the people who worked together during the show to not only illustrate what our products and machines could do in a real time production environment, were humbled by what was being created for the Habitat for Humanity program.  Too often during shows, raw material is wasted and finished products are destroyed once the show is completed.  This time CNC Automation and our partners wanted to make a difference.  We contacted Habitat for Humanity to see if there was a need.  This partnership proved to be rewarding to all concerned.

I would like to share with you, a letter that was received from Stewart Hardacre, President and Chief Operating Officer for Habitat for Humanity Canada.

WMS09 & Habitat for Humanity

Ryan Vreedenberg - Thursday, October 01, 2009
We are always looking for new ways to present our products and illustrate machines in a real production environment. We quickly realized that the amount of raw material we toss in the garbage was a total waste and thus the idea of donating a finished product became our goal. With the help of Habitat for Humanity we found a great partner to work with while benefiting a great cause and assisting the environment.
